Getting Started

Set up your account, add your first client, and issue your first invoice in under 10 minutes

1

Create your business entity

Go to Settings → Entity and fill in your company details: IČO (business ID), full legal name, registered address, bank account number, and IBAN. This data populates every invoice, credit note, and PDF template automatically. You can create multiple entities if you operate under more than one legal identity. For sole traders (OSVČ), choose the OSVČ entity type; for limited companies, choose s.r.o. — each unlocks different PDF template defaults.

2

Create your first invoice

Navigate to Invoices → New Invoice. Select the invoice type: Issued (outgoing to clients), Received (incoming from suppliers), or Proforma (prepayment request). Choose or create a client — typing an IČO auto-fetches Czech company details from the ARES registry. Add line items with descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and VAT rates (21%, 12%, or 0%). The system auto-generates the invoice number from your configured sequence. Click Send to mark it as sent, or Save Draft to continue editing later. You can download the PDF or email it directly from the invoice detail page.

3

Add your clients

Go to Clients → New Client. For Czech companies, type in the IČO field and hit lookup — name, address, and DIČ (VAT number) are auto-filled from the ARES business registry in real time. For foreign clients, fill in the details manually. Clients can be tagged as both customers (isClient) and suppliers (isSupplier) at the same time. Client records store the contact person, email, phone, notes, and full billing address used on invoices.

4

Configure payment methods

In Settings → Invoicing, add your bank account number and IBAN. Set your default payment due date (e.g. 14 days), default currency (CZK, EUR, USD, GBP), and default VAT rate. Payment QR codes compliant with Czech ČSN 73 6030 are auto-generated on every PDF. You can also configure accepted payment methods (bank transfer, card, cash, PayPal) — these appear as labels on the invoice. Set up your invoice number sequence under Settings → Sequences.
